Ge’ez was conceived over a great dinner: Geoff G, Pye G, Mark G & Kookie GS and absentee diner, Jomar G around early May 2008. During that time this group of OPM (Original Pilipino Music) aficionados wanted to make a statement and keep the OPM music alive in their system while living in New Zealand. The group got their first invite to perform at the Philippine Independence day celebrations in 2008 at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama so obviously..
